Last night the boys made paper chains to decorate the house. It's not much, but it's a start.
Huffle was home late. The Leafs lost but he had a great time.
I ventured out again this morning to Walmart (although I have since found out it is frowned upon by Canadians to shop there - whoops) and bought a whistling kettle, a dinner set, some cutlery and some bedding. All in preparation of moving in next week.
Then I came home and with help from KP finished the costumes off.
My Small Rockin' Snowman and my Smallest Christmas Tree
I have offered to help at the concert so I can get their costumes on before they start.
Had a run on the treadmill this afternoon - boy am I unfit!! Need to do that more often.
I filled my car up with 'Gas' today - big car, but it only cost me $54 to fill it. How cheap is that compared with the UK?
Some more snow pictures - it only snowed a little last night.
The snow on the trees makes it look really christmassy
Look at that straight road - this is really high up - that is cloud in the distance
I spent the evening looking online to find the best prices for bedding, toasters, saucepans, air beds etc. Smallest and I are off on a mission tomorrow to buy more things for the house as Huffle is determined we are going to move in whether our ship has got here or not!!!
Small had trouble getting to sleep this evening (too excited or worried about his concert tomorrow - bless him).

Very good job with the costumes:) There is lots of snow where you are isn't there...we have just had a dusting that has all ready melted away.
Good luck small and smallest with your concert!!!!
Those are brilliant costumes, they look great, hope everyone enjoys the concert today Love the snowy pics, we warmed up at the weekend and it rained, so we lost our snow, but we've had a tiny bit more again, can't wait for a real snow storm although I know I'll be bitching and complaining by February! I think the whole Walmart thing is down to ethics, how they source their products and how they treat their staff. There have been law suits in the US when they won't promote women and stuff like that. There have also been headlines in recent years about child labour in places like India to make their clothes. Don't know how much is true but a lot of people avoid the place and shop elsewhere. Canadians also may not like it because it's a US store, but that's just a guess.

I have no problems with anyone shopping at Walmart...I do... but as an x-banker I don't like how they deal with the small business suppliers they deal with when those same suppliers get into financial trouble....I'll get off my soapbox now:)
Fair enough. I've heard a lot of stories about small businesses going out if business because of them, and bad treatment of staff etc. well at least I know now. Thanks
