During the night we had horrific rain, thunder and lightening (and we didn't have a leak hurrah) but this morning it was a beautiful sunny warm day (if not a bit humid - not complaining though).
Huffle worked from home and I left him shouting at his computer and saying rude words! The boys went to school dressed in shorts and tee-shirts. I went off to knitting and carried on with my Mystery Blanket. I met Suffolk there and we went for lunch afterwards and browsed a few shops. At knitting one of the women (who's husband was born in England) said "whaddya do? Pee in your shoe!" I asked her what that meant and she said "Oh its an Englisg expression!" is it? Are you sure? Do we say Pee? Do we say Pee in your shoe? I've certainly never heard it and when I looked it up on the internet I saw many things but not that!
I came home and sat on the porch waiting for Huffle to finish his call. We had a few passers by that said how nice our garden was looking. That's nice. We know people look when they go by on foot or in their cars but its nice to hear them say it.
The boys came home and we had the mad Friday Swimming rush. The water was warmer and so was the whole swimming area. It is so boring and long being there now. Watching Smallest is okay because there is lots to see but with Small, I just get annoyed because it looks like he is just messing around. He doesnt seem to do much swimming anymore and when he does he doesn't put much effort in. We need to find him a new exercise to do, as swimming just isn't enough at the moment. Still lifesaving is important.
Our jacket potatoes were cooked by the time we got home - we were hungry. The boys watched TV and then went to bed. They need their rest as they both have a Cub/Beaver hike tomorrow.
