Cake for shoes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COUSIN RUMBLESKINS.

Poor Huffle didn't sleep last night and was very tired today. Despite that he worked hard all day and even managed to get the grass cut possibly for the last time before that dreaded white stuff falls from the sky.

The boys went to school. Smallest took some of the sweets he doesn't like to see if he could swap them for something he does like. Funny bear! Once the kids went to school, I had a long shower. My muscles and feet were aching badly from gardening, walking and then trick or treating. My hair was all matted from backcombing it into a witches barnet and it took ages to comb it all out.

SCARY!

Mid morning I went out to Walmart (Why do I go here? I hate every part of it) I encountered lots of rude people including the check out chick who was so rude I wanted to hit her with my own shopping bag which she sneered at. She wasn't happy because I didn't want her stupid credit card either and instead of putting my shopping in my bag, she put it to the side. Even when I moved my bag to the same side, she put them on the other side of it. I asked why she couldn't just put them in the bag and she just sneered at me again. She also chucked my receipt at me. I was chuntering as I left. I was so desperate to get out of there I couldn't even be bothered to make a complaint! Every time I go in there, I say it's my last time. When will I learn?

I came home, unpacked and had lunch with Huffle. After lunch I made a start on dinner, hoping that I would be able to fit in a walk with ClownRose but she didn't get back in time. I put on washing, sorted it and dried it (even managed to get some on the line) and put the dinner on when the kids came home.

This evening I took Smallest to football practice. Coach asked if we had been feeding Smallest steroids as he thinks he has grown a coupe of inches. I tried to pay for his new boots but Coach asked for some of my home baking instead. He's trying to butter me up! The team had a good practice today.

Smallest now seems to have a seal cough again. He has had a runny nose so it could be a virus but we need to keep an eye on it now we have been told he doesn't have asthma!
