Halloween finished, Christmas started

The clocks went back last night and we changed them all before we went to bed. Despite that, the boys both got up before 7am (or 8am really). We had pancakes for breakfast and Small and Huffle got ready to go to football training. However, Small suddenly felt ill with a tummy ache and sickness. He went back to bed for an hour and so missed his football. I don't know what's going on in this house of illness! All of us at some point recently have felt ill in one way or another. It's rubbish!

Smallest and Huffle played FIFA on the Wii and I relaxed and painted my nails (and spilt some varnish on the sofa eeeeek). When Small got up we all played Catan. Huffle and I made two risottos for a late dinner while the boys played on the Wii.

After dinner we all went for an hours walk around the Hamlet. It wasn't as warm as we thought it was going to be but it was still nice. It was a little windy which blew the leaves around. Most of the Halloween decorations were still up although the Hamlet must be getting ready for Christmas soon, after all it is November now.

When we got back we FaceTimed Grandma and Grandad and got to see BettyBrownie, Moose, RubbyDucky, Aunt Pear and HB. It was very rowdy - we think they had been drinking!!

Early evening, we watched a film and had some tea and our Halloween Jelly. The boys went to bed early because the clocks going back have sent us all tired. Huffle and I will be going to bed early too.
