An early start to the day due to Leicester City playing at 8:30am (our time). Small got it on the TV for us and we sat and watched it for the first half, stopped for breakfast during half time and then finished watching the second half. Spectacular goals once again. In between the Leicester Game and the Stoke game, Grandad and Huffle fixed the pocket door which was scraping on the wooden floor. Apparently they used reverse engineering.
Smallest and I went for a long walk, along the railway, down a lane and along a sideline road where we thought one of Smallest's friends lived. We collected interesting things (metal fixings, rocks and stones), balanced on the tracks (103 steps for me and 108 for Smallest without falling off), smashed the ice in the river and had a lovely chat plus it snowed on our way home. We walked for about an hour and a half and just made it in time for the end of the Stoke game.
We all then went out for dinner at the Whitby Fish and Chip shop and drove to the lake and had a walk along the beach and boardwalk while the boys and Grandad played football and played on the outdoor exercise equipment. It was quite cold with the wind coming off the lake and we couldn't stay out too long.
We warmed ourselves with tea and hot chocolate back home before we had a family game of Yahtzee and we think Smallest won but it could have been Grandma, they got confused with the scoring!

Another great win for Leicester. Tell Huffle we'll be hoping for a Stoke win against Tottenham this weekend! Xx
