A visit from MrRumbleskins

Before we went away on our fabulous holiday, we had a message from MrRumbleskins (partner of MrsRumbleskins, my sister in Australia) saying he would be in Toronto around the time we got home.

After a few messages back and forth, we decided on MrRumbleskins coming to our house on the train and Huffle collecting him.  We had a bit of a makeshift dinner bearing in mind we only got back the evening before and had limited food.   In hindsight we should have met in Toronto but it was good to relax and chat and not worry about where to go etc.

We haven’t seen MrRumbleskins in person for about twelve years, though he hasn’t changed a bit and we also didn’t realise he had never met Smallest before.  Small was only two as well when we last saw him.

It was lovely to catch up though a shame we couldn’t have seen MrsRumbleskins or the cousins we’ve also never met.

The boys gave him an impromptu piano and tuba demonstration, a tour around the garden and a quick kick of the football.  He is continuing his business trip so we now need to arrange to go to Australia (that’s going to take some persuading of Huffle though as he thinks the flight is too long!).

Nice to see you MrRumbleskins, hope it’s not too long till we meet again.
