The Canadian President is Steven Harper, might be the bloke on the left, I've never seen him but I hear his name as my local radio station of choice is a Canadian one. The chap on the right looks to be the President of The First Nations, which refers to to indigenous people of Canada, Indians basically. There are quite a few tribes but are known collectively as The First Nation People. They're recognised as a minority group in Canada legally, for work and such like, but like most indigenous people of any Westernised nation they definitely get the thin end if the wedge. Ontario has a lot of First Nation people and land for them, but if you drive through any of these areas you'll see a lot of poverty, crime is very high too and they have the highest unemployment rate of any ethnic group in Canada. Sad really, seeing as it was all there's once.
Thanks Brenda, It's very interesting learning about other Countries :-) Sorry for laughing Famfa but it was so funny when you held up a photo of a man wearing a funny hat and said "I think this is the prime minister" - I'm laughing out loud as I type.
