Have Great Britain finalised the diving team yet?

Last week we read that the UK were heading towards droughts and there were hosepipe bans everywhere. Yesterday we read that it was going to be the coldest May in 100 years.
Today there were reports of flooding due to so much rain forecast!!!!!
Two of my favourite pictures from the Telegraph.

The boys woke us up this morning by sticking their freezing cold feet on us and pulling the covers off until we to up. They were hungry and no-one was up!!!

We all had breakfast together and then Grandma and I got ready to go out on our own as we were off to the Mall. We were only allow out until 1pm as the boys were going out to the football for the afternoon.

While Grandma was having a shower, she fell backwards out of the bath and onto the floor. She pulled the shower curtain down too. There was a loud thump but no-one came to her help. The kids were playing on the computer (across the landing) and ignored her. I was in my bathroom and didn't hear anything. Huffle and Grandad heard a big bump but ignored it!!! Grandad thought she did backward somersault with tuck and pike but lost points because her toes weren't pointed. Poor Grandma! She's okay. We drove to the Mall about half an hour away. We only had a couple of hours to shop. Not enough time but we went in a few places. In fact we decided we will go back soon.

We were told to come home for 1pm and we got here at 12:57pm but apparently we were told that they wanted to be on the bus at 1pm (they definitely never told us that). So as we rushed in, they rushed out.

We had Smallest with us and he wanted to watch a film. So after Grandma and I had a sandwich and Smallest played on his DS, we sat in the basement, snuggled under blankets and watched the Bee Movie. Grandma and I fell asleep briefly.

We tried to wake up by playing Marble Madness and Tumbling Monkies and then we did some colouring.

We had a visit from ClownRose and BabyMo to say thank you for her birthday present.

We made pizza, salad and crushed roast potatoes, and the three of us sat down together and had a very nice dinner. Smallest tried lots of salad leaves. He especially liked the spinach when we told him it would make him vey strong!

Ooh nice

Messy!

Smallest went to bed but didn't want to go to sleep. I think he wanted to wait for Small to come home. The boys eventually came home. They had a good time. It was very cold. Toronto lost. The kids around them were throwing food and hitting each other with blow up things. The street car they wanted didn't go where they wanted so had to get a taxi.

Good picture from Huffle

Poor grandma, typical of the male species they did nothing, shame on them. Hope she is OK. 2 hours shopping is just nowhere near enough. Heard through Facebook the football was a little girlie, not tough stuff like the UK. UncPest in London taking stuff down & might drop in on the London Marathon today (not taking part just watching) so having a lovely peaceful weekend! Aunt Pear.x
