18th Party

It was cousin HB's 18th Birthday yesterday and last night we went to her family party.

This is the lovely HB

and this is her cake - wasn't she sweet?
We played Pass the Parcel with forfeits (we always have forfeits at our family parties - the sillier the better).

"Oh Man, Why wasn't it me?"

MrsB reading her forfeit with Smallest looking on

MrsB's forfeit was to hold Uncle Pear's Trophy and wish she was him!

Lots of sweets were flying around and lots of balloons.  Kids loved it.  They got to try Sherbert DipDabs (remember them?)  Smallest's face when he tried the sherbert was the funniest thing.  Small swapped his sherbert for Smarties - Very Wise Small.

We were trying to organise a chinese take-away!
Dor (she's 90) with what looks like a very big balloon - Perspective!

Grandma, Mr Brownie and Cousin HB (she loves having her photo taken!)

Aunt Pear and Cousin HB with the Firework Cake - we were a little worried as the flames NEARLY hit the ceiling!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COUSIN HB - WE LOVE YOU XXXXXXXXXX

Cake, pass-the-parcel and a chinese takeaway - sounds like the perfect party to me.
