I think you liked me before he came along

A lie-in followed by Pancakes for breakfast which set us up nicely for a midday football try-out. All of us went today and we were asked to be there 15 minutes earlier which was a complete waste of time but it was good to get in, get warm and see what was happening. Once again, Smallest, OldCoachSon and Dan dominated the play today. They played three mini games against other try out boys, tier 3 and teir 2 teams. Smallest was told he played really well again and was seen laughing with the coaches later. We will get an email by Thursday telling us whether he is in or not and then they want us to respond within two days. They also said that they are looking to create a second teir 1 team due to the quality of the players seen.

Hungry, we headed for a nice restaurant nearby where I had a fabulous veggie burger made with rice, beans and almonds. Yum yum. No-one would come in the Mall with me so we came home.

While Smallest had a bath, Small, Huffle and I played Catan. Small won for a change. We FaceTimed Grandma and Grandad and sang Happy Birthday accompanied by Small on the piano. Small played on the Xbox and Huffle joined him while Smallest and I built domino rallies and knocked them down by accident too many times. We had a similar thing when Small was small(er) and we used to build it around our ktichen and under the table. Though then we had a little truck that dropped them for us.

This evening we watched Ant and Decs Takeaway with our tea. What silliness - the boys like it though.
