More shopping and a concert

The sun was out this morning.  It was still cold though.  No snow.  All gone.

Smallest and I went shopping to buy a microwave, some bedding, an air bed and some pillows.
.....oh and tried on some festive hats.

Then we skyped Moo and asked for Tomato Soup (the boys are not impressed with the soup yet here - I am going to have to wean them onto my homemade soup once I can find vegetable stock, also requested some stock cubes too).  I even bought them Heinz tomato soup but I tasted it and it is really bad, really salty.  Moo has quite a long list of things to bring, she says she hasn't any room for clothes. Clothes?  What does she need those for?

Our realtor popped in today as well to ask if the people in our house could use the Friday (the day after we are supposed to move in) to clean the house.  We have agreed that they can have the whole of Thursday to move out, clean etc and we will move in Friday Morning.

Smallest and I had fun this afternoon walking, playing hide and seek and getting stuck in prickly things!!!

Looking up in the wood

Walking through the wood

Shhhhh, he's hiding

Where are you Mummy?

Found You!!

These are things that were prickly and we got stuck in.  OUCH.

Huffle rang to say that he was one and a half hours in front of us.  That's strange.  He's in the same country!  He is off this evening to eat Cod's tongue.  Do Cod have tongues?  Interesting.  Glad I'm not there.

Small came home from school and said he got 100% in a math test and scored A+.  I'm so proud.  Well done Small.

......and then we went off for the concert.......
This does look like a really black picture with a white light.  It is in fact a picture of the moon with the trees, and when you view it in the dark it looks cool!  Convinced?

We rushed off to the concert.  Got Smallest dressed, tree costume ŵith a tree hat and ran off to get Small dressed.  We forgot his pillow so he was a thinnish snowman but looked good.  They all looked good, but Smallest looked the best (obviously).

The band played really well.  Then some recorders.  Smallest's class came next singing the Rocking Snowman - he was really good.  Unfortunately he was at the back so you couldn't see him but I could tell he got all the words right and he was "really rocking".

Red scarf at the back <right of centre>

Then some jokes.  Some small people singing and dancing.  Then Smallest came on, without his hat (it fell off and they didn't put it back on!) his class sang three songs.  They were fabulous.  I could tell he was trying really hard.  He's only been in school 5 days and he learnt all the songs and the actions.  Bless.

Don't know what happened to his eyes!

There were more songs and the band played.  Very good concert.

Then we rushed home, dropping baubles on the way.

GOOD JOB (as they say a lot here).
