The air bed that Huffle and I were on last night (the one that Moo will have from tonight) had a leak in it, not a small one, but a hissing big one. We mended it and had a cold night. We have a fire in our room, but it felt like hamster breath - it was that useless! Unless we weren't doing it right.
We didn't have a brilliant sleep, but our mattress arrived today with a duvet. Ahhhh luxury.
Moo, KP and I went to Ikea .........................
.... I was trying to help Moo make her seat go back slightly and it went the wrong way and trapped her (just a little bit - nothing too serious), so while she shouted, get me out, I took a little photo for you.........

.....a blanket, bath mats, shower curtains, placemats and loads of stuff. Then Huffle went out and bought more stuff like screwdrivers, cutting boards, you know more practical things. Oh and he brought Moo some Marmite.
Moo and Smallest have been playing football in the basement. Moo, Smallest and Small have been walking in the neighbourhood.
We've been trying to work out which light switch turns on which light. How the heating works. How the dishwasher works.
The Burlington Bertie's came today while we were at Ikea and brough the two sofas. Very kind of them. Very comfy. Christmas will be a comfy one now. Thanks. They Hired a van, drove it here (a long way). Mrs B also brought me some lovely English goodies. Clubs, Penguins, Digestives (my fave), Paxo, Oxo Cubes, Heinz Tomato Soup, After Eights - lovely, thanks the B's.
Kids are in bed. I'm going to wrap some Christmas Presents. The fire is on. The wine is flowing. Hic.

The airbed had a leak. You and Huffle just don't do airbeds. Did you have a squeaky pump!
