Which way Mrs Postlady?

The boys decorated their gingerbread biscuits this morning after I was up till gone 10pm making them.  Small's were for his Christmas Party and Smallest, just because Small had some.

Small's lovely decorated biscuits
Which he forgot to take so I had to come back and then go into school again and deliver them - PAH!
Smallest and Moo making a mess some yummy biscuits

We had to stop in the car this morning to let the goods train pass and we got our cameras out in case we saw our container on there but I wasn't quick enough, you can just see the back of the train as it trundles away.

One last mission today.  To get a present for Huffle's PA, find her house,  deliver it.  Pick up my all season tyres and take them home.  EASY?  Well we found the shop which was in one direction, picked out some lovely gift baskets and a present from the boys.  Then over in the opposite direction to find her house.  We got lost once (Moo's fault? - well I couldn't possibly say), delivered the gifts, had a coffee and a piece of cake and picked up lots of hugs and advice.

Then we left to go off in the opposite direction again - back where we first started to pick up my tyres from the rental house.  We got lost - was it Moo's fault?  Well not exactly - we happened upon a dirt road which was slidey mud and grit - we came across a black and yellow grid-like sign which we assumed, because it was mostly blocking the road ahead, that we couldn't go down there.  So we turned right for a bit till Moo decided we should turn around.  Turn around we did and I drove on the wrong side of the road for a bit (purely because I forgot we were in Canada), Moo calmly said "oh by the way, you're driving on the wrong side of the road!". We laughed a lot (thankful there were no cars on the road) and drove for a bit till Moo decided we should turn around again.  So we sat at a junction and wondered for a bit with our hazards on.  Then a kindly Post Lady came along and told us to follow her.

The we got on the correct road and picked up my tyres, went home, had a late lunch and skyped Moo's friends Badminton Babe and Bridgenut.

Bridgenut let Moo know that her birds were fine and her house was safe.

Badminton Babe told Moo about her friends at badminton and tried to eat amllest's gingerbread man!

We walked to pick up Small again.  It wasn't raining but there were a few puddles left to splash in.

A splishing and a splashing

I started to build the gingerbread house this evening.  All was going well (I normally use Aunty Miaow's help plus a few egg cups - they don't have egg cups here cos they don't eat Soft boiled eggs - old fashioned apparently!!),  anyway, as I was saying it was all going well and then.....................

*SPLAT*
See Aunty Miaow it happened again as usual!
A bit more icing and some choc buttons and it seems to be holding together..... So far. I have put it away in the cold room and will check it later and add some more decorations. I must get this done before the madness starts tomorrow.

One more picture to show you........

Is this Santa stuck in our heating vent or a pixie trying to get in???????  Or do Raccoons wear Wellies?
