Two falls, a submission, Whatsit Buble, Jamie Doodah and a partridge in a pear tree.

Everyone slept really well in their beds.  Ahhh there's nothing like a proper bed.  More boxes were unpacked.

Moo fell off her breakfast chair this morning - she said she just missed it!!  Oh dear - we haven't started drinking yet - that was fall number one.  Sorry didn't get a photo!

It was cold today, there were really large icicles hanging from the barn.

We took Moo to our favourite place here, the Forest.  It was cold and there were tiny flurries in the air. We all had on our thermals.  We had a lovely walk.

Crunchy snow, icy breath, freezing cold cheeks, toasty warm feet in our snow boots.  The boys wore their snow pants so that means they have free reign to roll on the floor.  In fact Smallest tried to roll down a snowy hill!  Not really enough snow yet for that!

The trees looked beautiful with their dusting of snow.

The logs looked Christmassy.

All of us in the forest on the troll bridge
Some of the paths were really icy, so Moo, Smallest and Huffle went along a different path because it was safer!!!!................

Whoops.  Fall number two - not quite so safe eh?  Moo fell down and took Smallest with her.

Submission - defeated we went home to the warm.  We ran down the garden first and checked out the barn.  We found the sit on mower (can't see that being used for a while) but Huffle thought he would just have a little sit on it.  POSER!

The boys opened a present (well it is Christmas Eve you know - that is all that Small has said to us all day!) and played with some toys they found.

We finished wrapping presents, put them under the tree, hung the big Santa Sack up and had a big slice of cake (courtesy of Huffle's PA).

I attempted to make some flapjack. Different ingredients, different oven, different temperatures. Enough excuses? It didn't turn out quite right, not that we've tasted it yet!  Whilst baking though, Moo and I listened to some Christmas Music.  Moo said "is this Whatsit Buble? Or Jamie Doodah?".

It's Christmas Day already, we had M&M round for Chinese and cards, very nice evening.

Just to say Happy Christmas everyone, hope Santa remembers where Small and Smallest now live, expect he does being such a clever fellow! Just finished wrapping pressies, can't wait for HB's face tomorrow, the unowot and and air ticket!
