Christmas in a small place

Spent all day clearing the kitchen cupboards out.  Big bag of charity stuff again.  Boxes full of stuff to sell.  Huffle says we need to go back to the Barter Economy.  Today the boys had their hair cut and instead of paying for it - their lovely hairdresser 'B' ended up with two puzzles, a hand blender and maybe our garden table.  It works for us!

Small has sold three games to his pals at school - bless him - he's trying to raise money. If I'm Arthur Daly - who is he? Dennis Waterman?

The loft is sorted.  The Kitchen is cleared.  The lounge is organised.  The Boys wardrobes and drawers are cleared of all Summer stuff.

We have just had a lovely visit from Aunty Plant and Uncle Dermott.

Aunty Plant trying to take a photo of Smallest

They travelled quite a distance.  We all had Fish and Chips.  They read stories to the kids and put them to bed.  It was really good to see them.

Lucky the Lion (Smallest won him for a day from school because he thought up a good Superhero!?), Smallest and Uncle Dermott

Cheesey?

Small was trying to look at both cameras - mine and Aunty Plants

This was supposed to be a natural photo!

Just had an email from our Realtor - Our moving in date for Canada has been put back to the 28th December!   Someone in the chain there has had a problem with their house so they won't move the date till they find somewhere else.

OMG

Not only are we homeless but we will be withour our stuff (our belongings are being put in a container 4th November) for soooo long.  We have to go to Canada mid - end of November because Huffle has to start work.

Our Realtor is still looking for a place for us - potentially she's found a SMALL place and will let us know shortly.  So Christmas in a BIG COUNTRY in a SMALL PLACE with NO PERSONAL BELONGINGS other than the stuff we carry on the plane.

STRESSED - OH YES - NOW I AM - DEFINITELY

(can you tell?  The font gets bigger!
