Some snow and a brother TREE

Smallest and I dropped Small off at school and proceeded to a supermarket on our own (only been there once before when we first got there with directions and a passenger who knew the way!).

Small wearing his new Maple Leafs top

We picked up some food and I got myself some warm mittens, and some thermals.  I am getting prepared for the cold!

It didn't look like it had snowed where we are but as soon as we started to go out a bit further, this is what we saw........
This looks like a black and white photo but it isn't

Once we got home I spent the rest of the day making a Christmas Tree costume for Smallest's concert on Thursday. It took ages. I'm not really a sewer (that's in the sense of I don't really sew well, not as in I'm not a place where rats live and waste goes to!) Anyway this is how I got on. Not brilliant but you get the idea.

I have added some more baubles and I can't get his hat to stay on.  Maybe some more work needed tomorrow.

I have had to do another "combing" session today - won't they ever go away?

Huffle out tonight with Mr Burlington Bertie at a hockey match.  The Maple Leafs no less playing against the New Jersey Devils.  Jammy B's.

P.S.  For those following this blog (apparently I didn't explain who the Burlington Bertie's were).  Huffle used to work with Mr B, and then Mr B with Mrs B And Small B all left to move to Canada two years ago.  They love it and have settled in well.  Small B has a gorgeous Canadian accent whereas Mr & Mrs B still have their UK accents.  Hope that has cleared that up.

Small came home from school today and said "mummy they don't do full stops here, they do period instead".  Oh yes I forgot about that!

I sorted out the electric and the gas today - hurrah, our house DOES exist after all, thank goodness for that.

Famfa, you sound very busy and in the swing of daily life. The snow looks very festive but I guess just a sprinkling for Canada. Loving following your blog and put it all together now in my little old head.
Those critters have travelled a long way with you so they aren’t going anywhere in a rush!!! – Get combing!!!!
