Fall Back

The clocks went back last night which meant it was light when we woke up. Before we went to bed we changed all the clocks (normally I get really confused and don't know whether they have been changed or not). It fooled the boys as they waited patiently till 7am to get up.

Something has been eating our pumpkin

Huffle made breakfast today (I had my lemon curd on toast - it was scrumptious) and the boys practised piano and played noisily. Mid morning we went out to buy a birthday present for one of Small's Beaver buddies. We picked him up some stuff and then went and had dinner in our local town. After dinner we went for a walk near a park.

We dropped the boys off at the party (Brothers were invited too) - it was a football themed party and the Dad greeted me with "Far Out" and "Right On" and the Mum gave out tee-shirts for the kids to write their own numbers on. They played a lot of football, ate cake and ice cream (brrrrrr) and grapes and played more football. Their garden had a homemade goal at each end, the pitch was marked out in white lines but went down at the sides slightly into the ditch. The kids had fun and were very worn out after two hours.

Huffle and I were also invited to stay but we took the opportunity to play tennis instead. We worked very hard and had a laugh too. I had to play in gloves (which I have never done before) and Huffle played for half of it in a beanie hat.

We picked the kids up, they had showers and then we had tea and watched some more of the film.
