Adventure to the White House

Small went to the Zoo today with his friends for O's Birthday.  So Smallest and I decided to go for an adventure.   We visited his friend Art and my friend LizzieDotDot.

We wakled over sheep fields and stiles

Climbing over our first stile

Walking through the sheep field

Smallest and Me

Oooh the moon

Running to the next way marker

Just a minute while Smallest eats a sweet

Tough getting the wrapper off

Now this way marker says its up - JUMP

This is fun

Another up - JUMP

 Through the farmer's fields

Wow - we've got to walk through this cabbage field

There's Art's house - just over the hill

Another way marker - what does this one say?

It says follow this cabbage field (really rape seed but they did look a bit cabbagey)

Keep walking Smallest

C'mon Mummy - Keep up

 Along the big farm road

Now up the long road

I'll just have another sweet to keep me going

Phew this road is long

C'mon kids nearly there

....and all the way to the their house.....................

Their new chickens

and the baby chicks

Then the boys played, dressed up and scared us.

Smallest is a scary pumpkin

Art is Grim Reaper (I asked Art what a grim reaper was and he said "they hold a stick!" - fair enough  Smallest is a Dragon

After a lovely lunch and a play on the computer, it was time to go home.

LizzieDotDot and Art walked with us through a couple of fields....

Then its back over the fields again to go home
