Last night, after all had been shampooed and combed and shampooed again, we finally got to settle down and watch some TV. We only have a basic TV package until we move into our house (which isn't a lot- mainly its for the kids). Anyway, I was browsing through the channels and found one called "Yuletide Fireplace". How funny is that? It wasn't even December (I know it is now, but it wasn't last night!). It was a full screen moving image of a fireplace with logs burning whilst Christmas music was playing. We thought it was very funny.
Today
Smallest and I dropped Small off at school this morning and then we went on to the Bank (hey I can do this without my GPS now!!) and stopped in at a supermarket (what again?) to pick up something for dinner. Smallest requested Tuna Bake.
Then back home, quick snack, bit of tv, some colouring and drawing, a few stories. I made Tuna Bake. WE got back today to find a Banana Chocolate Loaf (still warm) waiting for us from KP (owner). Ummmmmm yummy.
Huffle is at his Christmas Dinner this evening.
I had a couple of emails from UK today to say that Smallest's picture (he drew, we scanned and sent it to his old head teacher) was shown in achievement assembley. Ahhhh, he is so proud.
Found out last night that our ship (holding all our worldly possessions) is going to be delayed by 6 days! That means it will now turn up 22 December. That's a bit too close to Christmas for my liking! The plan (at the moment) is to still move into our house 15th December and buy essentials that we will need to live. I started today by buying tea towels, oven gloves, mop bucket. Will probably wait for Moo to come and then we can have a trip to Ikea and shop till we drop.
Smallest and I played Hide and Snowball this afternoon. It consisted of hiding behind a tree and then snowballing the one you found, well me really.
We went for a walk along the track and Smallest decided he had walked far enough and would not walk anymore until we found some snow to throw. If you look really closely you'll see he is laying on the floor.
Smallest is actually having a strop here. He refused to move and sat there hugging the rock for a long time. He is sooooo stubborn!
We wore ourselves out and then went to get Small from school. When we got home they didn't come straight in, instead they stayed outside and played and played and played, really nicely together which is something they NEVER do. It was nice to see because as soon they came in they started fighting and being not nice to each other.

It's snowing again here this morning, not much though, maybe another inch when it's done. When did you ship your container? And is the 22nd the day it arrives in port or the day it comes to you? We shipped on 30 October and got our stuff on 12 December. Although baked in to that time was the rail travel from Montreal to Detroit, and then waiting a week for US Customs to clear it before we could have it. I would think you could take a couple of weeks off our 6 week time frame, as you're local to the container, you won't have the other hassle we had. It's going to be like Christmas has come early when it arrives though!
Love the fire tv!! I thought you were showing us a pic of your warm and cosy fire in your little house!! We gave up on tv subscriptions in the US, almost everything is crap and the adverts are every 10 minutes! We stream Netflix across the internet direct to our tv and watch what we want, when we want to. Have been catching up with older episodes of Top Gear recently.
Hugs

We were told it would take four weeks for the container to arrive from door to door. Four weeks would be 16 dec, it's now been delayed till 22 dec. hopefully there won't be ore delays at customs. Do we have to postpone Christmas this year? Will have a look at the Netflix, TV is sooo bad here. Thanks xx
