About 3am ish a huge roaring storm started. I thought Huffle was asleep but he was just barricaded under the duvet and pillows. It was very loud and very close. It woke everyone in the house except for Smallest who snored on regardless. It went on for a long time. Everyone was tired this morning.
Huffle went off to work yawning. I got up close to 9am again, the boys got up at 8am and Moo got up about 8:30am. It was a very slow morning for us with the rain from the night continuing right through into past lunchtime. We played games, cleaned a bit, tidied a bit and generally did inside things.
After lunch we all went out to play football until Small's friend turned up to play in the pool.
All the boys went in while Moo and I knitted and crosswords on the side whilst being lifeguards. The pool needed vacuuming and filling (despite and because of all the rain). The three boys played well together and then all played on the trampoline.
I made dinner with the help from my assistant chef Small. Today we had Macaroni Cheese with meatballs and pizza leftovers and a salad from the garden. We saw this combination on a restaurant menu and it worked very well.
We all played Go Fish several times and the boys watched TV before an earlyish bed!
Moo and I made Lemon Blueberry Loaf while Huffle put up smoke detectors.
