'Get in the hooooolllleeeee'

Huffle worked from home and then went on to a charity golf event for Big Bill (heart and stroke). He played with NoCustards Brother who he said was just like a male version of NoCustard, Mr Royal and umbrella. Huffle won a golf bag in the raffle and an umbrella and balls for nearest the pin. He would have won more but they don't let them win more than one prize. He had a good time and enjoyed it.

Moo and the boys stayed at home this morning while I went to work. Today I weeded a bed we made last year, fought off the many many mosquitoes and gave up and went in for coffee and a wee lemon coconut biscuit. We finished our morning in the greenhouse repotting up geraniums. The mosquitoes still found us in the greenhouse though the pesky things.

The boys spent a lot of the morning reading, playing football and playing Top Trumps.

When I got back we had lunch together and then went up to the pool. The water was only 22* but they messed about for a while and then we went shopping and to the library.

The boys read a bit more, did a chore, wrote in their journals and played on the IPads and DS', stopping for dinner. Moo and I started a new game of scrabble on the porch.

Today and during the night we had a big downpour of rain but it passed quite quickly. There is supposed to be more tomorrow. This Summer has been a strange one weather-wise. Warm, but quite English in it's unpredictability.

Get in the hole - it is something huffle says every time we go past a golf course. Apparently it's what they say whilst watching any professional golf snoorreeeeeee x
