WET PAINT NO PASSING

Another very early golfing start for Huffle. He saw a Heron, a turtle, frogs and a duck family. He came back home and worked for the rest of the day.

The boys played with their Pokemon cards until we herded them out of the door for a shopping expedition. On the way we followed a vehicle painting the yellow stripes on the road. There were three vehicles, one warning us not to pass, one painting and another telling us they were painting and not to pass again! On the way home we watched a huge long lorry trying to get round a tight corner and running over and squashing three traffic cones (they call them pilons here but we don't know what they call pilons!).

We bought a couple of presents for the party the boys are going to tomorrow, some new beach towels for our holiday (in August), a body board for Smallest and then the boys bought themselves some new Pokemon cards and a couple of books. We picked up a bit of food and went off to the cafe for a drink and a little something.

What Pokemon card have you got?

A cookie as big as Small's head! Smallest had carrot cake which he said he liked but Moo ended up eating for him!

The boys had their hair cuts where Moo went for hers the other week (a mum from school). They came out looking like a lovely handsome pair of boys. We came home and had lunch, the boys in front of the TV and Moo and I playing scrabble.

New haircuts, strange coloured tongue, Small's baby tomatoes and our first year of apples. Moo contemplates her next move!

Huffle still worked and the rest of us went up to the pool. The boys went in and Moo and I continued Scrabble.

Relaxing, jumping and wondering how she can beat me!

The cooker man arrived from Samsung. We told him the saga and he said that Samsung needed to see the problem now. We sent him one of our photos of an error message from ages ago and then recreated one of the problems. It took a while but we did it. The engineer went off with his report and said he would get the parts and be in touch.

After dinner (Moo and I had freshly picked French beans, peas and mange tout) we had a visit from the Fire Chief who was checking all houses had correct smoke alarms etc in place. He actually helped to build the second floor of our house and the patio. We all played football until I sustained an injury.

Football (the one of the bottom was just before I got hit in the head by the ball, and that wasn't my injury, that came later when Small kicked the back of my foot instead of the ball. Moo also got hit in the side of the head with the ball!

Moo continued her chores by feeding the veggies and watering and Smallest and Huffle continued playing football.
