Sofa so good

First of all I have news about the cooker. Samsung have agreed to exchange it. At the moment we don't know what with or when but it is a start. Whoppeeee.

Secondly, the mower part has again got lost in transit but MrSnail has now reordered a new part. He said if he could lend us a mower he would as he feels so bad for us. He will call us when the part is in and the mower is fixed.

Today after the kids and Huffle left for the day, Grandma and I left Grandad painting pallets and went off to Suffolks house to return her keyboard. Then Suffolk, Grandma and I went Sofa shopping (bearing in mind that our two piece suite is older than Small and was bought for our little Village house). The first place we went to had a sofa at the front door that we all sat in and loved. Then next to it we found the same one but bigger and loved that one more. It was a really good price, in fact so good that Huffle text me and said, buy it if you want it, I don't need to see it (anyone that knows Huffle knows that's not normal!). Anyway after sitting on many many chairs and sofas, we left to try another shop and another shop and then went and had a quick bite to eat in Tim Hortons (Yes you heard me correctly. Not a place I frequent but when you need a quick bagel, it's perfect - still can't drink the coffee in there though).

A few more shops and then we dropped Suffolk back home to her kids coming home and we rang Grandad to check he was okay seeing the boys off the bus (he had run out of paint and so we went looking for a Canadian Tire even though we really needed a Home Depot but no-one thought to tell us that) and then we ventured into two other shops. Finally we came home.

Small had come back with a Tuba. OMG how big! The case is almost as big as him and nearly as heavy. He played us a tune - he did really well - it is very loud. The only problem is, he isn't allowed to take it on the bus. So once a week I have to take him and the Tuba to school and collect them again. Super.

Grandma and I made dinner, Grandad started the new puzzle (today he has painted the pallets, ran out of paint, made a frame for the light switch, mended the cushion button and looked after the boys).

When Huffle came home we had a quick dinner, dropped off Smallest at Beavers and left Grandad and Small watching Swiss Family Robinson. Huffle, Grandma and I went off to the furniture shop again. We couldn't convince Huffle right away about the sofas we liked but once he saw the Leather Lazy Boys, he started to get interested. In the end we bought a sofa, a love seat (a two seater sofa) and a lazy boy. We did a bit of a deal, paid and left but it was very late. We had several messages from Grandad and a missed call. Earlier in the day I had stripped the beds so when Grandad sent the boys to bed there was no bedding on either of their beds and he didn't know where to get it from. Anyway he managed to find some and put them to bed. By the time we got home they were fast asleep and Grandad was watching something on Netflix.

We had a cup of tea, watched a bit of TV and wondered where our new furniture would go. We get it delivered on October 1st (for Small's birthday - he will be pleased).
