Chocolate chips in a bowl - that's pudding!

Last night Huffle and I watched "Our Guy in India" about Guy Martin. It was brilliant. What a top bloke. He can definitely come to our party.

Through the night it was really windy but I must have been too tired to be worried. I think we slept better but not perfectly!!!

It was another freezing cold day, therefore we didn't go out. Small and Huffle spent the morning looking at Disney websites trying to plan our holiday and Smallest and I coloured in his giant Superhero posters.

We played a game of Pictureka which was abandoned due to Smallest having an argument about the way we played. We got out Gallop (the horse racing game) and tried three different table tops and had a few games but got frustrated with it because it wasn't running quite right. After lunch we all did our own thing for an hour or so. I knitted and watched Broadchurch. Huffle painted in the bunker and the boys played on the wii.

The rest of the afternoon was spent colouring, making pasta, making meatball and beet balls, playing table tennis and eating all our lovely homemade stuff. The boys set about making a pudding which was a big mess. Their first suggestion was angel delight with chocolate chips and ice cream. We ended up agreeing on Treacle Pud. This took so long, Huffle fell asleep at the table. Eventually they managed to finish and we tentatively ate our pudding. The sponge was a little undercooked and didn't rise much and the custard was a little runny (due to the fact that Small didn't measure the milk correctly). It was tough to watch them make something with very little help from me!

This evening we watched a film about a kangaroo wearing a hoody! Honestly, some of the things those kids make us watch!
