A full night's sleep for all last night. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Smallest's new friend Skunky
Huffle stayed at home as he was feeling poorly still. He did some calls from home. Smallest had a bath and then we went to the library. We stopped at The Royals and decided which plants we were going to come back and winkle later. They invited us (and our bunting) to their Jubilee Party next month.
When we got to the library, the daycare kids were there (majority from Smallest's class). It was hard to get through the door and I felt like we were celebrities. "Hi Smallest". "Hey Smallest!" "Can I ride your scooter?" "whatcha doin' Smallest". "hey Smallest's Mum". It was very funny.
We drew a picture, coloured it in and chose some books. Had a quick go on the park and then met Huffle at the cafe for lunch. Smallest doesn't need to ask for anything anymore, they already know his order!
We all walked back home. Huffle had another call to make, so Smallest and I played football and cricket. We checked our veggies and found we had beetroot, lettuces and peas all shooting.
Realtor G visited and talked to us about opening our pool. She's going to get the previous owner to come and tell us how to get it started and how to maintain it. Small went to his friends after school so Smallest was a little lost. We went to the Royals and while he played football with Mr Royal, I dug up some plants. Then we put them in under the big pine tree on the front.
Huffle and I got rid of some more of the rubber tyre mulch and then him and Smallest had meatballs for their dinner. I picked up Small. We are having his friend here tomorrow from school.
Mrs Chappo, my lovely friend from England sent me a photo of a plant we left with her before we came here. It is now flowering and looks lovely. Thanks MrsC it cheered us up seeing our old coal skuttle and geranium.
