Potter's Poffee Topcorn

We had to be up early this morning in order to get Small off to his Cub Camp Day (not overnight). The Cub Leader kindly picked him up and they went off for a day of Medieval activites. They were supposed to be there until 3:30pm but because it snowed all day and it was cold and wet, they decided to leave and come home at lunchtime. We got a call from the leader who said he would take Small to his house to play as we were out.

Small had had fun. There were Knights, Wizards, Dragons, battering rams, catapults, crossing a moat, shoving pies in Leaders faces and trying to get the Leaders out of the stocks. It was a shame it was so cold and wet because there seemed to be a lot of standing around.

Smallest had chosen to go to indoor Glow in the Dark mini golf so Huffle and I took him. It was fun and we were mainly on our own until about three holes from the end when a couple of silly girls were just hitting the balls willy nilly.

Huffle won with just thee shots over par and Smallest couldn't decide whether he was left handed or right!

Once we finished we had a quick game of shoot the basket and then went to the Irish Pub for some dinner. On the big screen in there was the Stoke game against Man U. Huffle and Smallest got to watch the last of the game and were very noisy when they won.

Before our dinner came out, the waitress brought out some mini muffins which were warm and lovely.

Smallest and I carried on our Guess Who obsession but this time drawing the characters (as we know them so well now).

We came home and picked up Small on the way. It carried on snowing and snowing and snowing.

Once we were in and dry and warm we made Popcorn and ate it whilst watching the end of Harry Potter.

A long skype with Grandma and Grandad while the boys played on the IPad, a few table tennis games and then it was time for tea.

Our 'Man who does' rang us to say he could start work on the basement in just over a week so that's good, we have all of next week to clear it!!!

Small is looking very tired and pale and is complaining of a headache. Early to bed tonight and a restful day tomorrow, unless its packing snow and we may have to build a new snowman as Gorgeous George has disappeared under new snow. Smallest and I had an idea to make Guess Who Snowmen and Huffle said we could knock them down as we are guessing. Maybe taking it a bit too far????

The snow just keeps on coming.........
