Hello Pugley

A nice lie-in and a breakfast all together. That's what we do on Good Friday.

Our front garden finally free of snow. BR: this is the side I am going to sort out this year.

Followed by a lovely 3.5 hour walk along the lake. The sun was out and the temperature got to about 13*.

Warm enough for a stroll but not quite warm enough for sitting on the beach. We scooted, passed the football, walked, ran and Then sat in a beautiful sun trap to eat our homemade lunch overlooking the lake.

There were plenty of folks out and about today including Pugley the happy Pug dog, Inspector Gadget, The Show-off and The Krankies (though they were showing their age today).

Smallest gave up his scooter whenever it got a bit rough or uphill so Huffle and I had plenty of scoots and managed to sneak it down hill a few times too, much to the amusement of passersby.

I spoke to a man who was watching sea birds through a telescope/binocular type thing. He said I could look but they flew away. We stopped on a high seat overlooking the walk and the lake and ate our muffin. We ended up walking over 10km and stopped at three parks. There were a few arguments and a few tired tears but all in all it was a good day.

When we got home, Smallest picked a chore from our new chore jar, Small made Huffle and I a cup of tea and Huffle and I sorted out the recycling and put it out for tomorrow. The chicken went in the oven and we all sat and relaxed and played on gadgets for the rest of the afternoon.

After dinner and a game of 'don't show your teeth' (a la Juice style) we started watching Star Wars No4. Huffle bought us the Hobbit films for Easter so we have those to watch too (only in the day thoug as younger Master Smallest has a vivid Imaginiation and can't cope with too much violence before bed - me neither!).

We love don't show Keith your teeth - in fact I'd watch a whole show just of that... Making me giggle just thinking of it! Happy Easter xx
