Sausages in Trams

A nice peaceful night's sleep for all. Another load of snow overnight resulting in another 5cm. That's 93 inches overall so far. WOW!

At breakfast we explained to Smallest about our trip JUST being a trip/holiday and that we were not moving back, not going to school (apart from a small visit to say hello to old friends and teachers) and not going to work. He completely understood and said he just got a little muddled when he heard me telling someone we were popping into the old school. Silly Bear. He actually seemed much better today but still has a streaming cold. We also explained to the boys exactly what we had planned and for when and we all got just a little bit more excited.

After breakfast we had one game of Jenga and then we set them a task of starting to pack their bags. Ha, that was funny. Small got stuck on putting things out for school for the next four days and Smallest packed Smelly (his beloved elephant from birth), six other soft toys, a trophy he won at the Summer Olympics when Aunty A was here, a bouncy ball, two soldiers, two books and a tin of go-go's. No clothes, that was it. I helped Small with his stuff and Huffle helped Smallest clear his room a little so we could see where to start, then we both helped him to pack his clothes. The boys each found a soft toy they wanted to donate to BabyMiaow/Tuc (no she still hasn't had it) and we found some books to give too. Once the bags were packed and plane entertainment was found we set them a task of clearing their bedroom floor of lego. They spent a long time (probably playing) listening to their music and clearing and then we allowed them some gadget time but still in their seperate rooms.

This left Huffle and I the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon to tidy, clean and get dinner ready in peace. Ahhhhhh the simple things......

After dinner I had a very interesting skype with Aunty A. Her side wasn't working too well and most of her conversation sounded like a chicken clucking, echoing or just wrong! She was explaining what we were going to do when we visit her and I thought she said she was taking me on the tram to sausage town. It was very funny and in the end we gave up.

Mid afternoon we set the Wii up and all played Wii Sports (Tennis, Bowling and Golf) and then Small went off to play at Cogs house while Huffle, Smallest and I played on MarioKart and a bit of Mario Bros. In between time Grandma and Grandad skyped us and we had a chat.

Our team won.

Small came home (with a bit of a mix up as Huffle went to pick him up at the same time that Cog's Mum brought him home) and the boys had tea in front of the TV while I tidied the loft and Huffle found things to take to England.

The boys went to bed with Smallest reading his school book to me (such a lovely reader) and Huffle reading Harry Potter to Small.

More 24 tonight to see how many more people can get in a pickle in just one hour.

We haven't done any more painting but this is what it looks like after one coat of white. We tried to work out where everything was going back in place bit all we worked out was that we are not putting the exercise stuff back in YET!
