Huffle and I slept really well, had breakfast and had a good tidy around. We have managed to fill one entire suitcase with things people have given us or we have bought over here. Whoops.
NEWS: AUNTY MIAOW HAS HAD HER BABY. It is a boy. Little Yorkshire Pudding. Ahhhhhh. Can't wait to meet him. Well done Aunty Miaow and Uncle Tuc. Clever parents getting him out, though Huffle and I do take credit for having the curry last night.
We drove to Grandmas where the boys were already wearing their football shirts and playing swing ball with CousinD, CousinE and Grandad. We had a quick visit with MalcMoose and BettyBrownie and then the boys went off to football. They are being dropped off at Moo's on the way back and Huffle is at Grandmas.
I drove back to the Barn, had a Red Leicester sandwich and Vimto and read my book. Then York arrived. York is a friend who I met through ante-natal when I was pregnant with Small. Our little group stayed friends which is nice. York now lives in Oxfordshire so I was really happy she agreed to drive up here to see me.
After a brief chat, we went to Market Harborough, looked round a few shops, and stopped for a pot of tea and a cake. We left and came back to the barn, chatted lots (well we had a lot of cathing up to do) and finally got ready to go out. We tried, in vain, to get some photos of ourselves but found we weren't very good at 'selfies'. We were ready far too early so sat and chatted some more and drank wine whilst waiting for LizzieDotDot to join us.
Tonight there are eight of us going for Tapas (Melissa's favourite). Photos tomorrow.
