So our very relaxing day commenced with Huffle driving to the supermarket to collect fruit for breakfast while the boys and I made pancakes. After breakfast and clearing up, we played a couple of games of Pokemon Yahtzee and then finished PiratesofCarribean1 and started PiratesofTheCarribean2. Afterwards we started on pre-school checking. Do clothes still fit? That took forever from Smallest as he has so many clothes. We chucked loads out that no longer fit him. He has definitely grown during the Spring/Summer.
Huffle and Small sorted out Small's laptop and worked out where it would go in his bag. Locker lock was checked and password remembered. This took all of the morning and in fact we stopped for lunch and finished sorting clothes afterwards.
We are still waiting for the washing machine man to come on Tuesday and all of our laundry baskets are overflowing. Hence the reason for checking of clothes to make sure they had enough stuff for the start of school. Of course they'll still be wearing shorts for a few weeks at least but we checked jeans and joggers too.
Small went and finished washing our cars and the boys then payed on their tablets while I made a Lemon Courgette Cake and Huffle and I FaceTimed Grandma and Grandad.
Later Huffle, Smallest and I played Carcassonne and then we had fish finger sandwiches whilst watching XfactorUK.
We tried our Mug Cakes and we had the following reviews: not practical to cook in a mug as some mugs don't microwave well. Not as bad as we thought. Messy as overflows if 'standard mug' not big enough. Not overly tasty. Dry. A bit big for one portion. We still have nine packets. Happy Christmas family.
