G&G are diseased cabbages

I thought I would have crazy wild dreams after the film we watched last night, but unfortunately I don't think I slept enough for dreaming. Thanks Otto and your foul smelling fire ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!! Poor Smallest had a room full of smoke which is not good for a seal coughing boy! We tried to open our windows in the loft but it was too bad so we put two fans on either side of our bed and sprayed lavender into them. It didn't really work. Sometime before 2am the rain was really heavy and yet still he had a fire going! AAARRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Today we woke up to a Tropical Cyclone Statement. Apparently we will get the tail end of Storm Nate. I think we will just get the Tropical Rainfall sometime this evening.

After breakfast we all went to HyHopeFarm for veggies for our Thanksgiving (now renamed Forgiving) dinner. We purchased a huge Dutch Flat Cabbage (Small was soooo pleased), parsnips, beans, broccoli, cauli to name but a few and a peck of apples. Grandad, Huffle and the boys went off to buy alcohol and Grandma and I picked up groceries. When we went to pay and pack, we had three ladies descend on us which was weird.

Back home all the boys were watching the England game which means that in no way could anyone move their eyes from the screen to help poor damsels unload the car or unpack the shopping. Lunch was had during half time but still in front of the game.

This afternoon we played Wizard (Smallest won) and then the boys went out to play football while Grandad mowed and Huffle and I cleared the weedy patio. It got quite warm this afternoon.

For dinner we made pizza and watched PiratesOfTheCarribeanDeadMansChest. We couldn't finish it because Otto got high and it came through the windows, Huffle fell asleep and I had jiggly legs! We played a game of Stop The Bus and Go Fish before Smallest went to bed.

This evening the Grownups played cards. We played Crazy Eights (Grandad won) and Ace to Ace (half way through Grandad was winning).

Poor Smallest was coughing like a seal tonight. We gave him antihistamine, put a wet flannel in his room, propped his head up a little and gave him his inhaler. He soon went to sleep. Hoping he will be okay.
