Don't step in front of that......OUCH!

As it was a library day, and the boys hadn't done their book reviews yet, that was their first job. Grandma Skyped us and we chatted to her whilst having our breakfast.

"everybody has a Teddy", except for the person in this book who has a monkey instead - nothing wrong with that!

"the discovery of America" by Geronimo Stilton. Small has almost exhausted the library of these books.

After a morning of 'doing' (including me trying to sort that bloomin' pool and a visit from a handyman who is coming to quote for the dry wall and clear our gutters), we got on our bikes (Smallest rode his scooter to be safer) and rode to the local cafe. We had dinner there and then rode on to the library. We exchanged our books, read a couple, coloured in, chatted to Nan and the other librarian and then cycled to swimming. We were early again so the boys had a swing.

Small pushed Smallest and he kept getting in the way of the swing. I kept telling him to be careful but of course he stepped in front and they both got hurt.

"Higher Small!"

Swimming went well. Small did his six laps of the pool and the teacher timed him. He started off so fast and well that she said "he thinks he's in the Olympics!" but then he got progressively slower and slower.

He practiced his dives again and ended with a really good one. He got a round of applause. I didn't take a photo as I was videoing.

This was one of his practice ones. When it was Smallest's turn to swim, they put on life jackets and swam two lengths and did some safety moves.

He managed to do a length swimming stopping only once. We scooted and biked home.

I took this while cycling next to Smallest

When we got home we went in the pool. We filled it while swimming as I lost a lot of water this morning whilst doing the maintenance. Small and I made a water fountain bridge and tried to swim under it without getting the freezing cold water us.

Smallest had a tantrum and stomped off to his room. Small and I played for a while and then we went in and had showers. They played on the computer while I got dinner ready.

Huffle came home. We had dinner. The boys all played football. I was on the injured bench as my foot has suddenly got much worse!

Tomorrow the gutter cleaning men are here early and we have shopping and baking to do. We have just seen the humming bird again. Eating the red geranium and the red canna lily. Ahhhh lovely.
