Dollar for the Swears

How lovely to sleep in my own bed, I nearly slept like a baby. I woke up to thunder and rain (but it was short lived).

The whole house was up earlyish in order for us to get to the Baseball game today. Croissants for breakfast and we managed to get out by 10:15 (Not bad for us). Huffle decided to drive in this morning as we all fit in the one car. The traffic wasn't too bad and we got to Toronto in plenty of time.

Ice creams was our first stop at our favourite Downtown Gelato Shop.

Banana and Choc. Burnt Caramel. Mango. Lime and Rosemary. Gingerbread.

We ate them on the wave bridge at the harbour and then played on the bridge.

We made our way to the Rogers Centre and once inside the boys played on the 'drop the baseball' and won another 3D puzzle and a bracelet. Upstairs on our level, the boys played another drop the ball and a knock the players over. They won another two bracelets. We signed up to be designated drivers and got our free drinks and then went to our seats. The roof was opening just as we sat down and the sun shone through.

Today the Blue Jays were playing Boston Red Sox which was ironic as Aunty A originally wanted to go to Boston while she was staying here and changed her mind. So it was nice we could bring a part of Boston to her instead. We had snacks and silliness and drinks and breaks to play more games. The baseball game itself was good to start with but quite slow going. Blue Jays won and there was one home run which was exciting. Smallest was quite bored and played swap hats a lot with AA and me.

After the game (three hours later) we walked to the burger place. Here we had burgers with huge toppings (I had new topping called Down Under with pineapple, Beetroot, Egg and cheese - very different and extremely filling).

Some buildings
Some beers

Some Downtowness

We walked back to the car and came home via a supermarket to pick up fruit for tomorrow's breakfast that AA is making for us as it is Mothers Day.

That does sound like a typical Australian Burger...except minus the beef!
