How the Grinch Eliminated Christmas on a pre-Christmas walk*

Huffle didn't sleep as he had tummy ache and headache and ended up getting out of bed at 5am ish. He didn't come back to bed, but sat up watching all football highlights. It got so desperate that he almost watched the Scottish ones! Smallest rescued him at 7am and put CakeBoss on for him instead. He was pleased! His tummy and head got better throughout the day. Not sure what that was all about, but both of our limbs have felt unreasonably heavy today.

Small was feeling much better though it seems he has a raging cold now. More tissues please!

We decided to stay in today and have a sort of a list day which included a couple of games, tidying of Smallest's room, homework, piano, a walk and a pizza.

After breakfast AuntPear FaceTimed us and we had a good chat with her and she listened to the boys play piano. Huffle fed the Christmas cakes with copious amounts of brandy and Smallest did his homework. We played UPSET and I got wiped out early by Small's naughtiness so I continued with my crocheting.

Then we tackled Smallest's room. I dusted, Small vacuumed and Smallest and Huffle put things away. It looks very clean and tidy now but it will it continue?

We had lunch and started StarWarsANewHope which we think is no5. Huffle fell asleep for most of it.

*Huffle, Smallest and I went for a walk around the Hamlet. (2.5km about 4,800 steps we think). Smallest is offended right now by the amount of Christmas decorations out and about and so pretended to have a pea shooter and shot down anything Christmas related. Bah Humbug! Small did homework while we walked.

Smallest and Huffle played FIFA while I did a bit more crocheting and blogged and Small played on his tablet and then we all made pizza and watched the end of the Star Wars film. Wow, we're really getting through them now. We also watched ImACeleb. Not sad that Kez is out. Boring!
