Party in uk

There was a big family party today at Grandma's. Fish and chips, mushy peas, beans, chicken, sausages etc. there were many puddings including my favourites treacle pud and baileys trifle. Huffle's distant Cousins turned up. Friends of family arrived. Betty Brownie turned up with Brownies (of course).

Aunt Pear and Mrs B toasting with Bucks Fizz

Cousins and their children

The kids had a treasure hunt and races up and down the slope all organised by Aunt Pear who broke her favourite shoes.

After dinner we had Pass the Parcel (with forfeits). Some of the forfeits were :- Sing the National Anthem, sing the Canadian Anthem. Do an impression of a Moose.

This is Mr Brownie. A Moose???? Or a Chocolate Mousse. Kiss the person on your left. Sing a Nursery Rhyme. Betty brownie did an impression of a Beaver which I failed to capture on video, but it was so good we all kept doing it.

There was a lot of noise, a lot of food, a lot of sweets, lots hellos and goodbyes and questions and photo taking.

A very busy day. Quite emotional at times.

Very tired now. Having a quick cup of tea then off to the bunk bed again. Huffle and Small are sleeping in the same bed tonight. Will they sleep well? Huffle gets warm and breathes noisily and Small wriggles and talks in his sleep.

Tomorrow a taxi will pick Huffle and Small up first at 6:15 and then come and pick me and Smallest up at Moo's house, then it's off to Heathrow and up in the air.

Not sure when I will next get wi fi so maybe see you in Canada.

Au Revoir. Xxxxx

Hello Famfa, Huffle, Small and Smallest.
Greetings from England. Loved the blog about Saturday, but very upset at ruining my most favourite shoes. Hope the temperature picks up - it should do on Friday according to Toronto weather. Very tricky goodbyes. HB viewing flights in February as she can't wait til Sept!
