No smiling!

We had a lovely lazy morning. Huffle watching football, I was sewing and the boys were playing on some device or other. We had croissants in honour of Mummy Appreciation Day, which I made up because the some shops doing "customer appreciation days" where they have BBQ's and offers on because 'they appreciate their customers'. I asked them what they appreciated about me, mainly it was to do with food and letting them play on the computer. Very funny.

We all went out to several Mall's today. The first one, a Chinese Mall, we couldn't park in because it was lunchtime and it seemed the whole of the Chinese community were there. So we went for lunch in Unionville. A nice stroll along Main Street and then the boys had pizza, Huffle had a Bison Burger and I had a lovely Mushroom Linguine.

We went back to the Chinese Mall, managed to park and then went and had our photos taken. Huffle is applying for Residency here and we have to submit 6 photos of each of us and one extra of Huffle and I for a Police check in the UK. Smallest went first and tried very hard not to smile, in fact he looked like he was chewing. Smallest was next and his photo looks like he has just been told off. I got told to move my hair away from eyes.

What a motley crew!

Huffle also has to have an English test. Can you believe it? Huffle is English, born in England, lived in England until Novemeber 2011 and his first language is English but he HAS to have an English test - he better pass it. The rest of us don't have to have one because Huffle is the Principal applicant. Ha!

While we waited for our photos to be developed we went on the lookout for Pokemon cards. We didn't find any but we did get some leaf picker-uppers which is good because ours from UK broke. We picked up our photos and went to another Mall where we bought a cover for Huffle's new IPad. The boys were happy in there because they go to try a computer.

By the time we go home it was about 4:30pm. The boys had far too much energy and we sent them outside to play while we skyped Grandma and Grandad.

Small finished his Harry Potter last week book so we watched some of the film. We had our tea in the basement whilst watching the film and then the boys went to bed (we will have to finish the film another time).

It is very cool this evening, I'm ready to put the heating on!!!
