2 Bronze, 2 Silver and 1 Golden

It was snowing quite heavily when we got up and the flakes seemed quite large. It settled a bit and then stopped late morning. The temperature started at -12* and then throughout the day got warmer and warmer until it got to +2. How strange!

The boys tried really hard to be good and get on with each other today. I even managed to get a rather lovely photo of them together by saying that it helped to show me that they could get on.

I still didn't allow them any gadgets and they spent some of their time in their rooms playing music, reading and doing a jigsaw puzzle together. The beginning of the morning was spent watching the football, playing table tennis and running around the house, half the house excited because of the won match and half booing because the half running around the house should have been supporting Leicester as that is our hometown!

After lunch we went out to watch Paddington at the cinema.

It was a lovely film though the audience were quite young and not at all quiet or still! The boys loved seeing London and told me they remembered various places a few times throughout the film. There were quite a few big names in it and it was funny. I most liked the fact that I understood everything in it (though I'm not sure it was totally necessary for them to show so much rain). It made me want to go to London and adopt a bear of my own as I think he would fit in very well in our house. Everyone enjoyed the film.

Afterwards we went looking for football boots for Small. Two shops and we finally found some in the sale. He is soooo excited about his football on Tuesday. He can't stop talking about it.

The boys were very tired today and we went off to get some dinner even though we were later eating than normal. We ended up in The Bear, a British Pub. British Football, A British film, British footy boots, a British Pub and British Grub. Then when we got home and the boys went to bed, we watched The Great (British) allotment challenge. See we are integrating perfectly!

Lovely sunset - shame we were on the highway at the time of this photo.
