A ball of a day

Smallest finished his Jigsaw Puzzle before we all got up this morning.

Today we were supposed to be on the slopes, Boarding and Skiing but when we woke up it was raining and Small had tummy ache. He was bent over double and occasionally running to the bathroom. No idea what it was but after a long lie down and a bit of dry toast, he was fine.

The morning was spent playing table tennis, S'quarrels and Monopoly Deal and Skyping Grandma and Grandad. After lunch (it was still raining) we made burgers for our tea and went out to play Five Pin Bowling in the local town.

We played for an hour and managed one and a half games. Smallest wasn't happy because he struggled to get the pins down but he ended up just one point below Moo and I so he didn't do that badly. We did have the sides up!!

Next door to the bowling, they had pool tables so we paid for half an hour on two tables (there was no one else in there). We actually ended up playing for over an hour but they never told us to come off. Huffle tried to give the kids some instruction while Moo and I played a game. Then Huffle and Moo played while I helped the kids. They loved it but found it very difficult. They want to go there again. Huffle and I had a few games and Moo helped the boys and then we stopped as we didn't want to take the Mickey.

We had our burgers when we got home and then watched the end of the Harry Potter film. Small, Huffle and I watched the Snowboarding Championships on TV before Small went to bed.

It's a busy week next week.
