Arctic arrival

Temperature was -11* but with windchill -20* OUCH!

The boys went off to school well covered up against the elements. Luckily the bus came today so Moo and I didn't have to walk them. Huffle didn't go in to the office and worked from home. Moo and I went off shopping.

We went to a Strip Mall or Plaza where we parked right in the middle of the Car Park and walked to each individual shop. No-one parked anywhere near us as they parked next to the shop they wanted obviously. We braved the biting cold crossing over to each shop. We started in Winners where I picked up some Christmas presents for next year (how keen am I?). I really wanted to pick up some Christmas plates for the teacher presents next year to put our festive treats on but I never found one.

Moo wanted a new pair of jeans and boots. We found the jeans eventually but no boots yet. We stopped for a coffee and then later for a breakfast ciabatta which was very nice. We picked up a few presents for home (England home) and came back with fifteen minutes to spare before the kids got home. Just enough time for a quick cup of tea.

We had snow during last night and Huffle had cleared the drive.

The boys had a good but tiring day. I could tell Smallest was tired because he hugged me a lot. Tonight was piano for both boys so lessons were done (very good, both learnt new songs). Smallest is starting the recorder next week at school too.

Small did some homework and they played on their DS' in between lessons.

We had dinner and then the boys went off to their Beavers and Scouts meetings.
