Modesty Towel sir?

I woke up with a headache, sore throat and sniffles. Plus my whole body aches from yesterday's exercise followed by extra squats whilst making the dinner (thought it was a good idea at the time) and a snowy walk. OUCH!!!!! Moo also hurts from exercise, snow shovelling and walking. Smallest hurts from gym yesterday as they are now doing squats, lunges and all things he does in his football gym sessions on Thursdays. He will be very fit and strong if he keeps that up.

The boys went off to school. Smallest was very silly and kept throwing snowballs at the window to see if I would flinch. Small took his teachers gifts in today and by mid morning had sent me two texts to say his science and English teachers said Thank You.

Moo and I went shopping after breakfast. We were looking for birthday presents for Smallest and Huffle. Moo bought Smallest a remote controlled helicopter for Christmas and after two days, it died. He asked for another one for his birthday and they were on sale so Moo bought him another one for his birthday and I bought him one (with his own money) for now (as I'm guessing it might break between now and the end of March and if not he'll have two). Moo is also taking the one she bought for Christmas back to see if they will exchange it so he could end up with three! She bought Huffle's present too. We did our food shop and came home, put it all away and had lunch with Huffle.

This afternoon we made fishcakes and apple crumble (ummm nice combination) for dinner. We had a visit from MrsChristmas who came to say goodbye to Moo (leaves tomorrow evening) and we decided we would walk after she finished her errands. She brought us a jigsaw mat round which she bought ages ago because she thought her family would do puzzles with her and they didn't.

We finished making the fishcakes and then walked around the Hamlet with MrsChristmas. A nice slow walk, cold but warm enough for no gloves though my ears and legs were cold!

Small came home, did a chore and played on the XBox (new game he downloaded, not appropriate for me to play as it was 'fighty'). Smallest came home and was all upset. He had brought home a ukele to practice on and a silly boy from the bus had broken it (not sure that it was on purpose but he is an idiot so who knows). I called the school and spoke to the Principal who was very understanding and said he would not get into trouble and he was to bring it to her tomorrow morning.

Moo sorted Smallest's clothes out and Smallest helped her and then got his snowboarding gear ready for ski-club tomorrow after school.

Huffle went to the walk-in docs tonight to get his skin problem looked at. He has ben suffering since before Christmas and although he has been trying to sort it himself, it just isn't getting better. He saw a different doctor today, a lady, early forties. She asked him to strip off (lower half) and gave him a paper towel and she disappeared. He didn't know where to go, table or chair, or what to do with the paper so just stood there laughing. When she came back she said the paper was a modesty towel (sometimes when they open the door, the room is viewable from the waiting room). They had a good laugh over it. He has some cream which he has to use for a month.

The boys, Moo and I played several games of Kingdomino and then Smallest and Moo played table tennis, though both of them are aching so much, they could hardly move!
